IBRC Member Qualifies for Badminton Mitsubishi Motors Cup!
(September 22, 2017)We’re delighted to report that one of our members, Nicola McClure and her horse Zippy, have qualified for the Mitsubishi Motors Cup held at Badminton next spring.
Nicola is a strong supporter of IBRC regularly attending the clinics, camps, competitions and taking part in team events. Here's what Nicola had to say after qualifying:
“There is no way that I would have managed to qualify for Badminton without all the training that IBRC put on. I first joined the club in January 2016 as a new year’s resolution to commit to more regular training, with a busy and somewhat unpredictable job I had found I never got round to booking or attending lessons and Zip had unintentionally become more of a happy hacker.
With IBRC having so many regular training dates I put these in my diary, made sure I left work on time and committed to attending as many as I could. As well as the regular Friday evening clinics I’ve taken part in the test riding clinics, the winter dressage series and riding for the IBRC team at the BRC events. All of this I feel has contributed towards achieving the ultimate goal for me to ride at Badminton (fingers crossed) next spring”.
